Rio Olympic Games - Writing

Where was the first Olympic Games Held?
In 776 BC through 393 AD, it took 1503 years for the Olympics to return. The first ever Olympic Games were held in Olympia. Olympia in Greece, since that day that the first ever Olympic Games started, the Olympic Games were banned from someone and that the person who banned the Olympic games thought that it was a really good choice to make because he thought that the Olympic games were really dangerous and no good for anybody to participate.

Who designed the Olympic Flag?
The person who designed the first ever Olympic Flag was Baron Pierre de Coubertin. He was the co founder of the modern Olympic games. Baron Pierre de Coubertin was a founder of the international Olympic games and he also was the first ever person in history to ever create the Olympic flag. He is also the person who introduced the Olympic Games again to the world when it was banned years ago by another person.

In which Year was the Olympic flag designed?
In 1912, it was the first time in history that a person ever created the Olympic flag to ever been made. That was the one and only year that the person created the Olympic flag. This year, everybody today still uses the Olympic flag because their is no way that any other flag will replace the Olympic flag that was created years ago. The Olympic flag that was created years ago is a really special flag because it was used for the Olympic Games years ago.

What do the 5 Rings represent?
The 5 rings generally known that the 5 interlocking rings represent the Five continents of the world (the Americas are considered as one, North and South, along with Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia). That is what the 5 rings represent and this is what I researched on my Chromebook to find out some interesting information.

Why were the colours Yellow, Black, Green, Red and Blue chosen?
The colours L to R are Blue, Yellow black, Green and Red, and were not meant to really mean anything, although these colours appear in many of the flags of countries on these continents. Some people think that some of the colours doesn’t mean anything and that they think that only L to R are the only things that people think represents Blue.

Why are the Rings interlocked?
A white background, with 5 interlocked rings in the centre. Blue, Yellow, Black, Green and Red is symbolic. It represents the 5 inhabited continents of the world, united by Olympism, while the 6 colours are those that appear on all the national flags of the world. This is the reason why the 5 colourful rings that you see on the flag for the Olympic Games explains why the 5 rings are interlocked with each other.

Who created the first Olympic Games?
The Greeks were the first ever people on Earth to ever create the Olympic Games, it was stagged in Olympia, Greece from 776 BC through 393 AD. That is Where and When the first ever Olympic Games was ever created. The Olympic Games were held in Olympia, Greece and that is Where the Olympic Games were created.

Who hosted the first ever Olympic Games?
The first country to ever host the Olympic Games was Greece. It was held on April 6th 1896 in Athens. Greece was chosen as the place to hold the first ever Olympic Games by the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C). That is why Greece was the chosen location of where the first ever Olympic games held in and a group called “Olympic Committee (I.O.C)” were the people that will be sorting some things out and adding some sports inside the Olympic Games.

In which Year did the first Olympic started?
The first Olympic Games were held in Olympia, Greece in 1896. The man responsible for its rebirth was a Frenchman named Baron Pierre de Coubertin, who presented the idea in 1894. So the man Baron Pierre de Coubertin was the first person who also created the first ever Olympic flag and that he wanted to keep the Olympic games going and to make sure that the Olympic games won’t stop until another generation of people can keep on living the dream at participating or even watching the Olympic games.

Conclusion:
These are all the reason’s Why, When, Why the Olympic games was created in the first place and who are the people that Designed and Created the Olympic Flag so that the Olympic Games can still continue because of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, if it wasn’t for him then the Olympic Games will be over in 1912. Here are all the interesting information that I found on the internet and that the same man that designed the Olympic Flag is also the Co Founder of the Modern Olympic Games and also the man who reintroduced the Olympic Games to the World again when it got banned Years ago.

Results - Comparing the Olympic sports from now and back when it first started?
Today in the 2016 Olympic games is really different to the Olympic games that was held in Olympia, Greece. Today the Olympic games that we play this year has more sports than the ones that was played in Olympia. Back in Olympia, the men had to wear an underwear and they never wore shoes because they weren’t invented back then. Sometimes for a race in Olympia, the Men had to sometimes wear Armour and they never used timers like the way we use it today. Sometimes the players at Olympia will cheat so they can be crowed the winner of the game and the race will be named after them.

Also that we had more equipment that we could wear or use to participate in the events and that the Men that participated in the 776 BC Olympic Games didn’t have that much equipment because the equipment that they needed weren’t invented back then.
