Why do you think that girls weren't allowed to watch or even Forbidden to even watch the Men fight?, Is it a really good thing that Girls are Forbidden to enter the Arena?, is that a really fair rule for girls to not watch? I think that girls weren't allowed to enter the Arena because the men are fighting to become the winner of the Arena and that people can see who won. I also think that Girls are not allowed in the Arena and it is also a great rule because for some other Games that the Men will be Competing in and their might be blood splattered everywhere around the Arena and that the Girls will be crying so hard. I really think that this interesting rule is a really great rule because the Girls will see blood Splattered everywhere and that will not be a happy time for them.

ReplyDeleteI think that you have made a number of interesting and thought provoking comments. I really appreciate how much care you put into your answer. You have definitely made me think carefully about this rule and about the dangers that the women could have experienced if they had witnessed the men being injured during the Olympic games.
Fortunately, the current ('modern day') Olympic games are much less violent and both men and women are able to watch the events and to compete. I am really looking forward to watching our male and female athletes compete this winter in Rio. I hope that they all stay healthy and are able to perform at their very best. Who knows, they might even win some medals! That would be pretty cool...

Luckily, like Rachel said, the modern Olympic games are much less violent and both genders can watch and/or compete.
